Training Information

We at the Bricket Wood Sub-Aqua Club are very proud of our training structure. If you are keen to learn then we are keen to teach. We do not offer a 'quick fix', but our club, along with the BRITISH SUB-AQUA CLUB (BSAC), offer an un-matched level of training for all conditions
"Learn to dive in our waters and you can dive anywhere in the world".

Although we can train to a very high level of diving ability, it is up to each individual how far they want to go. Initially we offer our Ocean Diver course, this would qualify you to dive to a depth of 20m with anyone who is the same level or higher. We call this a course, but you only pay for your annual club membership and training materials. Thereafter we would hope that you will continue your membership with us and the BSAC, and gain further experience and qualifications, diving to a maximum depth of 50m.

Training takes place on a Tuesday night between 8pm and 9pm when we use the pool at the Bricket Wood Leisure Center. After which we meet at Lye Lane Sports Club for lectures and socialising.

We have our own 6m rib which is not only a great training aid, but also fantastic fun. Along with the BSAC, we offer skill development courses, which amongst others includes boat handling. With us and the BSAC you are part of a structured diving environment, and part of a well established diving club.
Be the best! Learn to dive the BSAC way at the Bricket Wood-Sub Aqua Club
